Rusted Tree Fabric

This is a clever use of rusted fabric!  I love the tree and leaves.  I can feel the gnome that lives in it.  What a great imagination. Thanks for sharing, Barbara!

I love to rust!!

Circle Study 1

I have been fascinated with circles in my rusted fabric for awhile now.  I think it is a study that can go far with the various justipositioning of small, large, many and few circles.

I am getting started today!!!

Rusted Garden 1

This is how it starts with a collection of old rusty objects!
I am getting started today. These are 5 wonderful words.  It does not have to be perfect – 7 other wonderful words.
I am Jane Aldoretta, fabric artist, and owner of the Fabric Arts Studio in Grand Junction, CO.  I have a passion for life, quilting, quilting arts, surface design, design, fiber and fabric arts, and photography!  I love to combine as many of these as I can into my life.
This is my blog for one of my favorite surface design techniques, rusting.  I will feature how I rust, examples of rusted fabric and how it can be used. I will be featuring other artists as they use the rusted fabric that they have bought or made at the Studio.
Sometimes, I will just comment on things that are interesting and exciting to me or share my photos.
Blessings and be creative every day!!
Jane
